The crises of recent years have shown that such partnerships are essential in order to maintain supply chains. Decisive factors for this are short decision-making paths, good vertical integration into the supply structures and production facilities that can quickly cover local demand. To honor the good cooperation with them, DMG MORI once again invited its partners and suppliers to the Partner Summit on the occasion of the traditional Open House in Pfronten. A total of seven DMG MORI Partner Awards were presented. The award winners are: Industria Co. Ltd, Algra S.p.A., Daikin Industries, Ltd, Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH, FUCHS SE, Seifert Systems Ltd. and SMC Corporation.
Dr. Masahiko Mori, President of DMG MORI Co., Ltd., praised the award winners and DMG MORI's partners and suppliers in particular for their willingness to help shape the future of machine tool manufacturing: “DMG MORI is specifically driving innovation and technology in machine tool manufacturing with the MX – Machining Transformation Strategy. DMG MORI Partner Award: Seven Winners in Seven Categories
The DMG MORI Partner Award is presented in seven categories: Innovation, Quality, Technology Performance, Delivery Performance, DMQP, Sustainability and Cost Performance. DMG MORI thus covers all relevant areas that influence success-oriented and sustainable cooperation. The company also emphasizes the individual strengths of the award winners.
- Industria Co. Ltd. was honored in the Innovation category because the company's filter technology led to the joint development of ZEROfog.
- In the Quality category, Algra S.p.A. received the DMG MORI Partner Award. With its high-precision machining of medium-sized castings, the company guarantees the high accuracy of DMG MORI machines.
- Daikin Industries, Ltd. received the award for Technology Performance. It has been supplying reliable hydraulic cooling units for over 40 years.
- In the Delivery Performance category, DMG MORI honored Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH for its absolute delivery reliability in the field of CNC controls.
- Fuchs SE won the DMQP category for the second time in a row. Customized cooling lubricants and a reliable global network make the company a first-class DMQP partner.
- Seifert Systems Ltd. from Malta received the DMG MORI Partner Award in the Sustainability category. The company was the first Maltese climate-neutral company in 2021 – for which it already received a DMG MORI Partner Award at the time – and now operates independently of an external energy supply.
- SMC Corporation received the award in the Cost Performance category. The supplier of pneumatic components has been impressing with its flexibility and performance for over 40 years.
Partnerships for the Green Transformation (GX)
The separaten categories for sustainability and innovative developments that contribute to the topic also show that the Green Transformation (GX) as a fixed pillar of the Machining Transformation (MX) benefits from innovation-oriented partnerships.
