ULTRASONIC Series

The ULTRASONIC Series enlarges your machinable material range to the widest in the entire DMG MORI portfolio. The ULTRASONIC-technology allows for economical grinding, milling and drilling of hard and brittle Advanced Materials, hard to machine super alloys and composite materials with up to 50% reduced process forces.

ULTRASONIC Portal machines

These 5-axis ULTRASONIC machines with a highly stable portal design offer maximum precision with a machine accuracy of up to 0.2032 µin and highest dynamics with up to 2362.2 ipm feed speed. In addition to drilling and milling, the mill-turn machines can also carry out turning operations in the same set-up. Long travels up to 236.2 in and high maximum table load capacities up to 55,116 lb provide exceptional machining flexibility. A pallet changer for the DMC machines facilitates set-up during machining for maximum productivity
